Guidance for International Societies for Investigative Dermatology (ISID) Member Applicants
Activities of the society must be focused on the advancement of investigative dermatology and cutaneous biology
Societies must have held an annual scientific meeting for the last 7 years, with English as the official language of the meeting for the last 3 years.
The majority of the meeting must consist of presentation of previously unpublished research findings in the form of plenary, concurrent oral sessions and poster sessions.
The presentation of the abstracts needs to be greater than 50% of the meeting activity by time in the meeting and greater than 75% as total number of presentations at the meeting.
Member societies must have an average annual membership of 200 members over the preceding 7 years. Associate applicants must have an average of 100 members.
New member societies agree not to hold competing annual meeting in the year of the international meeting
Applications due by March 31 and October 31st each year.
